We will be joining Miss Drizzle as she and some adorable Baltimore City “kids” journey through our city’s water infrastructure systems, meeting fantastical people, Baltimore legends, and learning about how Baltimore keeps the water running.
The FM Junior Scene will present “Charismatic Water Creatures of the Baltimore Inner Harbor” and will feature performers swimming as blue crabs, striped bass, turtles, jellyfish, eels, geese, herons, and mallard ducks.
The FM Junior scene is for young people aged 9-14, who are strong swimmers and want to be a part of a fun show. The kid’s scene will be rehearsing on Monday through Friday for two weeks, July 10th-21st from 11 AM – 12:30 PM at Roosevelt Pool (3500 Poole Street, Baltimore, MD 21211).
An all-cast tech rehearsal will take place on Saturday, July 22nd (from approximately 12 PM - 5 PM) with 3-4 weeknight rehearsals July 24 – August 3rd (location and time TBD).
Water ballet shows will be at Riverside Park Pool on July 29 and 30 and at Druid Hill Park Pool on August 5 and 6. Attendance at tech day (July 22) and all shows is required. Additionally, swimmers are required to purchase a base costume (typically a swimsuit that costs around $30). If you require financial assistance for costumes, Fluid Movement does offer scholarships.
