Fluid Movement is once again partnering with Baltimore Votes to bring joy, glitter, and movement to Baltimore City polling locations. We will have three Poll Dance-related events that you can participate in (participating in one event does not require or preclude you from participating in any of the other events). These events are being organized by the fabulous and incredible Claire Molina, Ashley Ball, and Val Perez-Schere.

• Poll Dance at the Polls - November 8th, 5-8 PM

  • We will be meeting at The League for People with Disabilities (1111 E Cold Spring Lane) and be there from approximately 5-6 PM.

  • Then we will move to Poly Western High School (4600 Falls Road) from approximately 6:15-7 PM.

  • And we'll end at Pimlico Elementary School (4849 Pimlico Road (entrance on Thorndale)) from approximately 7:15-8 PM.

  You are welcome to join for one location or all three! We will teach everyone some simple choreography and get everyone costumed up! The theme for this is "Dis-GO to the Polls", and Fluid Movers are encouraged to dress in their glitteriest 70s-inspired outfits! If you don’t have anything disco to wear, fear not, we will bring some spare mustaches, glasses, glittery jackets and whatever else we can find ro spice up whatever fun/ sparkly/ Fluid Movement-y outfit you wear!
