2025 Water Ballet
Dive Into Banned Books: A Water Ballet of Resistance and Joy
EVENT DETAILS
For 2025, Fluid Movement is going to “Dive Into Banned Books: A Water Ballet of Resistance and Joy.” Wait! Water? Books? Isn’t that a rather soggy combination? Not this summer! Get ready for your summer reading program! Set in a library, we meet the provocateur, banning books left and right. Cue the helpful librarian to guide our inquisitive kids through five of these banned books. Why are they banned? What can we do? Why should we read them? Check it out as we create an atmosphere of inclusion while exposing censorship and blazing into our finale of joyful resistance!

Interested in Swimming?
Fluid Movement proudly does not require auditions to participate in the water ballet. As such, we are a first-come organization where people interested in swimming in the water ballet in an adult scene must attend sign-ups.
Typically, Water Ballet Sign-ups take place in late April/early May, and information on sign-ups is posted here and on our socials in March or April.
If you are interested in signing-up for the water ballet, please read our Swimmer Expectations and Information, so you know what you’re signing up for to be in the water ballet!
Tickets are expected to go on sale in june!
