2023 Water Ballet Open Positions
If you can’t swim with us this year, there are still plenty of ways to get involved behind the scenes! Right now, we are urgently trying to fill the following positions for the 2023 Water Ballet:
Set Designer - Stipend $400
Duties include designing sets as well as leading set builds prior to the shows. Fluid Movement sets have to be able to be by the pool (aka waterproof) and be constructed at the beginning of each show day and taken down at the end of each show day. We have a system for this, so there's no need to reinvent the wheel! You will be provided with ample guidance from producers as to the vision of the show and how sets typically work for Fluid Movement!
Set Crew Lead - Stipend $200
Duties include leading the erection of the set (lol) for Tech Day (July 22nd) and each show day (July 29 & 30 and August 5 & 6) and leading the set strike at the end of each show day. This could easily be the same person as the set designer, but it is not required to be the same person.
Front of House Lead - Stipend $100
Fluid Movement has an incredible department head for Front of House; however, she can’t be with us on the first weekend of shows (July 29 & 30), so we are looking for someone with Front of House experience or ample delusional confidence, who can parachute in and lead our Front of House team on the first weekend of shows. They will work closely with our Front of House department head leading up to the first weekend, but their only requirements are making sure Front of House runs as smoothly as possible during the first weekend of shows.
Email Ashley Ball and Barbara Wilgus to apply for one of these positions! Apply Now!
