Interested in Weekly Rollerskating at Gardenville Rec?

Fluid Movement may have an opportunity to do some skating at Gardenville Rec! We’ve been approached to host a roller skating session for kids & folks in the community, followed by a Fluid Movement rehearsal or skills share. We could share our skills with young folks interested in learning how to skate at drop-in sessions, and stick around after to work on routines. This is still very much up in the air, but if you are interested in teaching a skill or combo, or to help this project come together, email val@fluidmovement.org.

2022 Season Think Tank

2022 is going to be as unique as the past 2 years have been for Fluid Movement, Baltimore Rec & Parks, and theater and the arts in general. We need to think radically and be ingenious to find new ways of doing our thing, and new things to do! Got ideas, or just want to be part of the process? Come on down November 12th, 6-8, 303 W. Monument Street! More info on our calendar here.

Fluid Movement has a new World Headquarters!

After years of searching and months of packing, we have a new home! We are now at 303 West Monument Street, still in the Bromo Arts District. We had a lovely open house during the Bromo Art Walk September 23rd, and will host workshops, meet-ups, and think tanks as the year progresses and the pandemic allows. Want to help us outfit our new space with necessities? See our wish list here, or Venmo us at @fluidmovementbaltimore.

FM Zoom Movie Night!

April 23, 7pm! Join Justin Sabe for a watch party of” The Real Spider-man: The Making of Green Goblin’s Last Stand.”

A passion project? No budget? A group of friends? Baltimore? We have a lot of things in common with this incredible film!

From YouTube: “Watch in awe as we discover what an unbridled passion can produce with NO budget. In 1992, Baltimore native Dan Poole took a tight-knit group of friends, an uncompromising vision, and $400 to put together what many have called the best "fan film" ever made. Dan's motto, "get the shot", lead the way to record mind numbing stunts while using every resource he could muster to develop what is now known as his "Self Help Film School". Narrated & Directed by Joan Weber Interviews with the cast and crew of 'The Green Goblin's Last Stand' “
