Fluid Movement Pitch Party

March 20th, 6-8 PM

Peabody Height Brewery (401 E 30th St)

Now that the 2023 water ballet theme has been announced, it’s time to start thinking about 2024 and beyond! What silliness does the future hold for Fluid Movement? Well, let’s all find out together at Fluid Movement’s Pitch Party on March 20th at 6-8 PM at Peabody Heights Brewery!

Do you have a fabulous idea for a Fluid Movement show? Do you have visions of a perfect theme that capitalizes on all that glittery wonderment of Fluid Movement? Do you just want to see if people laugh at your jokes? Me too! So submit a pitch for this pitch party! All ideas are welcome! Big or small! Water-based or roller shows! Serious or stupid! Anything can be a Fluid Movement show!

To submit a pitch simply fill out this google form: https://forms.gle/gJ9mR2qL3xDG24UC8

You will be able to present your pitch to the Fluid Movement community at the pitch party in any form you like: puppets, interpretive dance, hiding behind your paper as you speak in monotone, power point, whatever you want!! But if any kind of presenting makes you feel queasy, have no fear, we can find someone to read it out for you! So pitch that incredible idea!!

And even if you don’t have an idea to pitch, come on down to Peabody Heights Brewery and support your fellow Fluid Movers as they dazzle you with their fabulous concepts!!

Mini-Water Ballet Scene

Rehearsals on Saturdays

February 4-25th, 1-2:30 PM

Callowhill Aquatic Center (2821 Oakley Ave)

Fluid Movement is bringing a mini-water ballet scene to a social media feed near you in an exciting video project produced by the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health! This scene will be a preview of Fluid Movement's 2023 water ballet as well as a fabulous and educational display of synchronized swimming.

Rehearsals will be on Saturdays from 1-2:30 PM at Callowhill Aquatic Center (2821 Oakley Avenue) beginning on February 4 through February 25.Filming will take place the following weekend, which is the first weekend in March. The date and times for filming will be finalized ASAP, but will likely be on Saturday, March 4th or Sunday, March 5th at 3 PM, but this might change as we are coordinating with BCRP. To participate, you must be able to join for all four rehearsals and be available to attend the filming session.

But have no fear, if you can't make it to every rehearsal and filming, you can still come on down and hang out with us in the pool and maybe brush up on your synchro moves & grooves.

Please let us know if you are interested in joining us in this mini-scene by filling out this google form and signing our Fluid Movement waivers: https://forms.gle/WicQ4h3N67kHu9wz7

Also, since we are using BCRP facilities, members have to sign up on BCRP’s CivicRec website and pay $2 per session; however, all participants in the filmed scene will be reimbursed for their rehearsal sessions at the filming session. See here for the BRCP CivicRec link: https://secure.rec1.com/MD/baltimore-md/catalog

Here is a handy guide to walk you through the CivicRec website: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1qwADMcl21fTLEIcbejXwyGJ5GMQTDNymlgzQhinhDaU/edit

We can’t wait to see you in the pool!!
